Attendee Comments Summary:

  • As a result of the T4T Fair I will allow students more choice in how they engage in my course

  • The students were really remarkable - I think their presence is a great addition. Faculty presentations were equally well done. The one-on-one demonstration of use is very popular and really engages everyone in good conversation

  • I would like more time at the Fair itself

  • I would like more time on the E-posters! They were fabulous!

  • I'm certainly going to encourage more faculty in my Dept. to attend next year.

  • More opportunity for round table discussions. The round table discussions were particularly helpful in connecting with other faculty & staff.

  • I thought the event was amazing and exceeded all expectations of what I thought it was going to be about. I learned a lot of different techniques to use in my future classroom.

  • Really well done - congrats to the committee!

  • A big thank you to all of the organizers - to pull this thing off is quite impressive and the general sentiment I had from the people I spoke with was that it was a positive experience. I enjoy the fair atmosphere versus a conference atmosphere. The casualness of the atmosphere really worked for me.

  • I thought the food options were more than generous

  • This was a WONDERFUL opportunity and I have several new things I plan to add to my classes. I cant wait to see how it all shakes out. I plan to definitely attend next year. Thank you!

  • You folks did a superior job in organizing and supporting this event!!! Good stuff!

  • Just wanted to thank you for the invite to give aT4T talk. I really enjoyed myself at the fair and I believe it was a success. My student also had a good time and I think this is such a great thing you are doing. These types of events are a wonderful way to expose students to professional meetings.

  • The best event on campus!

Presenter Comments Summary:

  • Flexibility, being able to show and actually have attendees use the technology

  • There were lots of motivated people walking around.

  • the preparation done by the people in charge of the fair was superior. I felt very comfortable and relaxed. Nigel was awesome and great at communicating needs, wants, and hopes. It was nice to have everything set up,, downloaded, and ready to go for my group to present. The fair was very informative and a wonderful opportunity to present in.

  • Being able to present everything digitally was very helpful and convenient!

  • More interactive

  • An opportunity to network and present in front of others

  • Required succintness and allowed for conversation and tailoring to specific needs of attendees meeting others who may be interested in 3D Worlds and globalizing classrooms

  • Presenter engagement was high

  • The variety of presentations and the student involvement (very exciting!)

  • Impacting a larger audience pool.

  • Exposure of your idea to a wide audience; experience presenting an e-poster

  • To be able to introduce the technology to a diverse audience

  • I'd love to present again at the next T4T Fair. Awesome opportunity and a wonderful experience.

  • It was a great fair and I really enjoyed getting to share my ideas with other students and professors.

  • I'd love to help build a more interactive website for next year.

  • Excellent support staff...

  • Fantastic idea. This initiative provides a medium for exposure and meaningful conversations about the use of technology in education. Keep up the great work. I was impressed with the number of sessions and number of people attending.

  • Work to include more Humanities faculty and students as attendees or presenters next time. Those folks need this fair, but don't think it applies to them.

  • Great / fun experience
